Kelly Ripa (AMC's Ex- Hayley) dug into a big banana split yesterday (June 29th) as she launched a new Electrolux fridge, as well as a new charity campaign. Ripa has teamed with Stephen Bruce, owner and founder of Serendipity 3, home of frozen hot chocolate in New York City, to build banana splits for a cause.

The cast of All My Children held a post Daytime Emmy Awards celebration at LAVO on Sunday (June 27th). Stars from the show gathered in the lounge and on the expansive outdoor terrace, enjoying signature menu items and cocktails while mingling among friends. Leading lady Susan Lucci (AMC's Erica Kane) held court and accepted a cake honoring the show’s 40th anniversary.
The police station set of "All My Children" buzzed as the cast and crew prepared for a scene. Sitting behind a desk in his officer's uniform all ready to go was J.R. Martinez (AMC's Brot Monroe), smiling as makeup and hair artists attended to actress Shannon Kane, who plays his partner on the ABC soap. "One day I'll have to get a wig so I know what's it's like to be waited on," he said. "I never have to show up early like everyone else for hair and makeup. I'm camera-ready as soon as I arrive."

Kim and Kelly just shot a Public Service Announcement for QVC. On July 31, QVC is presenting Super Saturday Live a benefit for the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund the perfect opportunity to let your fashion really make a statement.
Christopher Johnstone who stars in the national tour of South Pacific (currently playing at Los Angeles' Ahmanson Theatre) will appear on All My Children July 15th. Johnstone will play the role of a bell hop in a New York hotel, where he encounters the charming Greenlee Smythe (Rebecca Budig), who is trying to break into the room of her ex-husband Ryan Lavery. 
I was doing some searching for AMC Stars and check out what i came across... "Monroe police arrested a woman Thursday afternoon suspected of stabbing her boyfriend. Brittany Allen, 23, of 313 Selman Drive, Monroe, was booked into Ouachita Correctional Center on aggravated battery. In an arrest affidavit, police were called about a stabbing complaint. During an investigation, police learned the suspect had stabbed her boyfriend. Allen told police she stabbed him after an argument. She said she has been battered by the suspect in the past, which police confirmed. No bond was set Thursday night"I highly doubt this is the Brittany Allen (Marissa Chandler) on AMC, But had to post this under "Real Life or Reel Life" :)
Cameron Mathison, who plays Ryan Lavery on ‘All My Children,’ makes the show, and is ABC daytime’s most active cheerleader. The frequent ‘Good Morning America’ contributor and former ‘Dancing With The Stars‘ contestant still seems grateful to have a job even though he is one of daytime’s most popular stars. You have to respect that. So it comes as no surprise that he is thrilled about this year’s Daytime Emmys move to Las Vegas. He revealed which award he will be presenting, details about the Lifetime Achievement Award that AMC’s creator Agnes Nixon will receive and why, after what can charitably be described as a tumultuous year for AMC, he is confident the show will go home with the big prize.

TLC has announced the pick-up of "Homemade Millionaire" from Milojo Productions, the company helmed by Mark Consuelos (AMC's Ex-Mateo) and Kelly Ripa (AMC's Ex-Hayley). This new series will help aspiring businesswomen make their dreams become a reality. “It is going to be like a mompreneur show,” reveals Consuelos. “It’s not limited to moms, but it’s focused on women who have ideas at home and never really know what to do with them. Kelly gets stuff sent to her office all the time; some great ideas!”
